A Casio Sheen for every elegant woman.

So I had my first photoshoot experience. Anddd I don't know how models do it. I know that the eyes are really important to be expressive and reveal the emotions you're currently in so.. I tried my best. The other Casio Sheen girls did their shoots so effortlessly!! Especially Shine and Kiyo who looked fab in every pose. So you're here to see pictures of me, right? (If you want pictures of the other girls, either scroll all the way down for the group pic or... visit the OMY casio sheen website!)

I chose this lacy but classy cream dress with matching cream heels, a look the office will definitely approve. Throw on a blazer and you'll look ready for a meeting in no time! Photo on top: Doing the popular model pose. Of course I had to try it! :P

This is the Casio Sheen I picked!! (SHE-5020L-7A)

• Chronograph
As mentioned somewhere, I really really wanted a chronograph and was on the hunt for one but couldn't find one feminine enough (and not tear an enormous hole in my wallet) this was perfect because of its swarovski elements used for hour markers!
• Popular big face
Good, so I don't have to glance too obviously to check the time when I want to escape. Hahah.
• Water resistant
Works for me!! :)
• Stainless steel case
• Date display between the 4 and 5 o’clock hour markers
I'm the type of person that loses track of dates. Hence, I've been referring to my phone for the dates for the longest time until this baby came along! In primary school, I had a Baby G watch I used to refer to. That's how I survived.
  • Mineral Glass
  • One-touch 3-fold Buckle
  • Leather Band
  • 1-second stopwatch
    Measuring capacity: 29'59
    Measuring mode: Elapsed time
  • Date display
  • Regular timekeeping
Analog: 3 hands (hour, minute, second),
3 dials (timekeeping 24-hour, stopwatch seconds, stopwatch minutes)
  • Accuracy: ±20 seconds per month
  • Approx. battery life: 2 years on SR621SW
  • Size of case/total weight: 46.5 X 40 X 10.2 mm/70 g
This buckle was really unique! It's a leather strap that has a metal buckle. Will take a picture of it soon, or you could check it out at a watch shop! I fiddled with the stopwatch for a bit but I haven't officially used it :X
I look awkward in the picture below. But I will still post it up here so you can laugh at me and be the judge.

CRUISE LINE
• Sapphire glass
• Glass bezel
• Water resistant
• Stainless steel case and band
• Sparkling SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS hour markers and crown top
• Date display at 4 o’clock

• Pressing the upper right button causes the star ornament at 6 o'clock to rotate. After that, it rotates every other hour.
• 24-hour dial with sun and moon graphic

I have a thing for watches with Sapphire glass. I am a HUGE klutz :( I've dropped my phone countless times, I walk and kick table legs, trip sometimes, the works. I really try to be less clumsy but my limbs are long -_- #badexcuse

I love this watch!   Especially the star. I want the star to rotate!!! That's something you can boast about to your friends. CAN YOUR WATCH DO THIS? *presses the button*

I swear I love this lipstick colour on me. Changed into the second outfit! Oh, I forgot to mention that I paired my outfits with Swarovski accessories to match the crystals on my watch!

My ultimate favourite from the entire range!! Love the mother of pearl bezel!!! Casio Sheen found my weakness (mother of pearl but not too overdone) and designed this most gorgeously!! I love every detail in this watch!!
When I went down to the shop I couldn't resist.. putting it on. And then sadly returning it to the shop assistant.
• Multi-layered face with bold cuts that create the image of the Milky Way
• Stainless steel case and band
• Water resistant
• Date display at 4 o’clock
• Popular big face
• SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS for the crown

• Gorgeous bezel created with individually cut pieces of inlaid shell
• 24-hour dial with sun and moon graphics
• Artificial opal disk at 9 o'clock
• Disk at 6 o'clock with star-shaped hand that shoots across when the upper right button is pressed
The stars shoot across?!?!?! That's legend-waitforit-dary. For sure.

Eye-catching design that's partially ion plated!! Having no idea what that meant, I googled and found the answer for you. "Ion plating is one of the most advanced surface finishing processes in the trade. In traditional processes, the gold coating on the surface of the case can be rubbed off easily. Ion plating makes the gold plating more durable, more wear resistant, and also has a higher brightness." (From here)

I took the first paragraph but if you want to read the chemistry behind it, click the link above! I know it's about gold plating but I'm sure partial ion plating makes the watch more durable too!

Head over to Omy's Casio Sheen page to check out on the other girls!

Wearing your boyfriend's (or dad's) shirt.

I'm sure some of you might've already watched the video above, but I realised that I didn't actually share something I did last year.

I tried the technique.

At first, I tried one of my brother's shirts (he's an average sized Singaporean) but the collar portion was too small. Hence I had to take my dad's old shirts (he's a little bigger than the average sized Singaporean) and it fit perfectly!

This was so long ago that I still had shoulder length hair!

Paired this with jeans because it's WAYYY too short to be worn as a dress.

Won one of the best dressed prizes. Didn't use the prize in the end because it was a lunch at Todai. For ONE PERSON. Nope not going there alone, plus it's only valid on weekdays -_-

How to wear this? Simple, just find the right collar size that fits below your armpit area, button it up, tie the sleeves together in front or at the back, whichever suits your fancy, and TA-DAH.

My face is a little pink from drinks.

Easy peasy? If the collar is seriously impossible, the top button's width should suffice too! I think I wore the first button on mine. Make sure it's tight so it DOES NOT FALL OFF. You can wear a tube inside but I didn't. Tried jumping a few times with the shirt and it didn't fall so.. safety test passed.

Have fun! Haven't worn it ever since. Haha.
